Lost Azalea is found by police and adopted. Years later, Thomas meets Azalea in an escalator pile-up at Euston station. She visits him later to discuss coincidences. The novel travels back and forth in time, from Uganda to the Isle of Man and Belfast, uncovering the coincidence that each of Azalea’s family die 10 years apart on Midsomer’s, with Azalea fearful that she will meet the same fate.
Very enjoyable – interesting stories woven together with even more interesting ideas. Not bored for a moment.
